Cake Practice


Tyler and Drew's birthday are coming up soon.
I decided I wanted to make their birthday cakes in fondant this year.
I wanted to practice using fondant before I attempt Tyler's cake in a few weeks,
so here is what I did yesterday and today.

    OH...it's really cute! How did you get the fondant so black?

    The picture makes it look more black that in person. It is more like a really dark purple. I used the black gel dye (the same brand you used to color the fondant).

    That's funny. I totally thought is was purple!! I really like the colors. What kind or cakes are you making for the boys birthdays?
