The last 2 days have been crazy! I woke up Wednesday morning thinking my life was getting back to being normal. Andrew is now sleeping through the night, taking a nap each day at the same time and going to bed by 8:30pm. I finally have a routine to our day again and it felt great. By the end of Wednesday night we were being considered as an adoptive family for a baby due in less than a month! How did that happen? We were not even looking to adopt again!Tonight we were officially matched with this expecting mom! Heavenly Father has been working miracles in our family.
The baby is due on February 15th and we don't know if it is a girl or boy so we will be surprised!
We are all so excited!
When we told Megan and Tyler they were just giddy!
After Tyler thought about it for a second he said "Wait! How are we going to fit everyone in the car?!"
Megan's question was, "Will the baby have brown skin like Andrew?"
So to answer their questions..
Answer to Tyler's questions: We will be trading in my Chrysler 300 for a mm mmm mmmm mini van... man that was really hard say! It will be worth it but I am going to miss my dream car. *sigh*
Answer to Megan's questions: Yes, the new baby will have brown skin like Andrew and we will have another adorable African American baby in our family.
We are all so excited about this new baby!

Yay!! So exciting!! You don't have to get a mini van. You can get a suburban or other SUV that has three rows. I'm so happy for you guys! Can't wait to meet the new neice/nephew.
ReplyDeleteOh! And can I put my pick in and say I have a feeling it's a girl. Bethany is still up for grabs by the way. Or even Lynne is still up for grabs too! And Beth makes a pretty good middle name. Lol. Just kidding.
ReplyDeleteYeah!! Mini van mom! I'm so excited for you!
ReplyDeleteThis is so exciting! Thanks for sharing the great news!!! Did Flossie just call you out of the blue or what?
