Today Paige was released from the hospital
and we were able to bring her to the hotel with us.
Her birthmom was released yesterday
but Paige had to stay for an extra night,
so I was able to stay in the hospital
last night too and took care of her.
It was hard to see Paige's birthmom say goodbye to her yesterday.
She was so protective of her while they were able to be
together, only letting the nurses take her from the room when
they needed to weigh her each day.
She is a sweet girl and I am so glad she was
able to have the time with Paige that she did.
We are humbled and honored she has trusted
us to be Paige's parents.
Chelsee and Chris will always be special to our family.
