ICPC woes

When adopting out of state
there is something called ICPC
that has to be done.

Basically the home state of the adoptive couple
and the state where the baby was born
have to complete paperwork and approve
the adoptive couple to be able to leave the state with the baby.

Right now we are being held hostage by ICPC..
well, at least that is what it feels like.

We were hoping to have ICPC approved by tomorrow
but today we found out that the ICPC papers have not
even been filed yet! The hospital is giving us troubles
on getting the needed medical records for Paige
that are needed to file for ICPC approval.
We are hoping it will be ready tomorrow morning
and then everything else goes smoothly
and we can be out of here Friday night.
If we are not approved by Friday
we will be here at least until Monday,
since the government offices
will be closed over the weekend.

So please pray for us
to be able to come home
before the weekend reaches us!

On a happier note..
here are some pictures of Paige
from the last 2 days.

When she is awake it is hard to get a picture
of her without her hands in her mouth.

She lost her patience with the picture taking!

So I gave her a bath, put her in her jammies
and right now she is sound asleep.

I'm hoping she won't be up all night like last night.
